Nutrition Consulting
We accept patients covered by insurance and those who want to “self-pay.” Pricing may vary for those who utilize their insurance benefits for the sessions. Most pay as little as $0 with insurance.
We invite all of our clients to participate in a free consultation call, where we go over insurance coverage and potential cost per session, which may vary per insurance plan.
Afte the initial consultation we will book the nutrition assessment. This session is where we will discuss your full medical history, intake, lab analysis, current medication and supplements, environmental and social nutrition-related history, your nutrition goals, and more. To provide you with an individualized, evidenced-based nutrition care plan.
All nutrition assessments sessions are 55 minutes.
In the follow up sessions we will start building an action plan which will be written in the form of SMART goals. We will also review your Nutrition Prescription are energy needs (macros, calories, fluids), physical activity recommendations, and supplement recommendations.
Follow up sessions may be 30-55 minutes long.
Evidence from research and professional guidance shows that meeting with a dietitian for 12 or more visits per year is beneficial for preventing and managing chronic conditions. Intensive medical nutrition therapy (MNT) delivered by a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) has been proven to improve health outcomes and reduce costs for patients with chronic diseases like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and chronic kidney disease.
